Wicca vs Pagan
What is Paganism? Paganism is an umbrella term encompassing various nature-based, polytheistic, and often pre-Christian spiritual traditions that typically revere multiple deities and emphasize a strong connection to nature and the cycles of the Earth.
Is Wicca Paganism? (Pagan and Witches)
Yes, from a cultural and historical perspective, Wicca can be considered a form of Paganism. Wicca shares many common elements with Paganism, including nature reverence, polytheism, and a focus on spirituality outside of Abrahamic religions.
However, Wiccans may not universally identify themselves as Pagans due to variations in terminology and beliefs among practitioners. While Wicca is a type of modern witchcraft and has strong Pagan influences, it is also a distinct and organized spiritual tradition in its own right.

What Are Wiccan Holidays Called?

The Sabbats are divided into two categories: the Greater Sabbats, also known as the Cross-Quarter Days, and the Lesser Sabbats, also called the Quarter Days.
