Feng Shui to Attract Money, Prosperity, Wealth & Luck in Business

In this post, we go over how to use feng shui to attract money, prosperity, wealth, and business.

What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy, meaning “wind and water,” with a history spanning over 4,000 years. It addresses six life aspects: health, wealth, love, family, career, and well-being, through self-awareness and environmental changes.

Feng Shui is not a strict set of rules but a personalized, long-term practice adaptable to one’s lifestyle and goals. It fosters a connection between our inner energies and surroundings.

People turn to Feng Shui when seeking positive life changes and invite good energy with intentions. This practice incorporates ancient Chinese wisdom like Yin and Yang and Chi energy, aiming to harmonize the energies in one’s space.

How Can Feng Shui Work for Money & Make You Rich?

Remember that Feng Shui invites chi from the World into your home. Tie this with the unconscious meaning your mind is projecting onto your home, and you’ll come to find that your home is very much a reflection of your psyche.

The following are tips to stop inviting “broke energy” into your home:

Get rid of what is broken or worn out. When you are keeping broken items in your home, you are inadvertently telling your subconscious mind what you expect for yourself. This means you’re better off throwing out things that are broken or don’t work. Even if you can’t replace these items, it’s best you go without them. If these pieces matter to you, your psyche will guide you to a fine replacement when you make space for it.

You are training your mind to assume abundance when you aren’t afraid to discard something that is used up or not within your tastes. Until you are out of that scarcity mindset, you are training your psyche to “make do” with less. If your intention is to increase wealth and prosperity, then this principle is critical to your Feng Shui practice.

Have one beautiful object in every room. This signals to your psyche that you are worthy of having nice things in your life. It also raises the energies in your space because it signals abundance to the World/Unconscious mind. Give your mind proof that you are worthy of abundance!

Visualize and apply the vision. Imagine the perfect home for yourself and ask yourself what are the five senses you’d be experiencing? Even if it’s something that’s highly out of reach, there’s a good chance you can replicate the scent, sounds, and other sensory. Take the necessary action to apply these experiences into each room. You are worthy of it. And besides… if you aren’t willing to do this…. well… why would the World, or even your Self, be convinced that that you’re worthy of your vision?

Feng Shui At Home For Wealth

In Feng Shui, wealth and prosperity means more than just money. It is the abundance in life that provides you an enriching and fulfilling life in the form of good fortune. And yes, this can include money. The following are feng shui principles for wealth and prosperity.

Keep in mind that many of the things we want don’t require massive amounts of wealth. Much of it only requires some effort on our part. Usually in the sense that we only have to make it as easy as possible for the World to be able to deliver it to us.

Understand your perspective on your current situation. All people are driven by three broad motivations in different order: Sexual Energy (to find flow and merge with passion), Community (the well-being of those around us), and Security (a comfortable life without worry).

You can usually tell which guides a person by their risk tolerance and approach to goals. That said, consider how all of this is influencing your perspective of how much fortune you have. This requires self-reflection and helps give you some inner point of reference based on how you relate your inner and outer world and why things are where they are now.

That said, the bottom-line baseline for everyone is that the most important thing you have is your health. As long as you have your mental and physical health in-line as best you can, you will have more energy, opportunity, and capability.

If you find yourself lacking in your mental or physical health, it’s a test of the spirit to not let it be your excuse for not doing your best.

I suffer major depressive disorder and have low energy, but my sexual energy motivation drives me to engage heavily in my very few enthusiasms to the best of my ability—when I’m out of mental energy (I can no longer take in new info) I listen and honor my body and mind by giving it a break. Everyone has limitations, you want to surf alongside that. Self-awareness is very important here.

Life is a canvas best painted with positivity. The mature human being understands the reality of impermanence (everything changes). This means that you will be “betrayed” by the world or fate every season or so. This is called Life.

Consider each problem as a gift, a renewal of maximized energy. Where being laid off in one job will lead to the next Hero’s Journey. This cycle of destruction and rebirth is a measure of your fortune. Understand that no person returns to the same river twice; both are older and the water has carried in new things.

Your life is full of chapters and the only reason you don’t appreciate a chapter is when you haven’t given it meaning, or a lesson, to take home. If you find yourself in the same place again and again, without any new lessons about life, then your life is full of empty experiences, and “an unexamined life is not worth living”.

Part of good fortune is giving back to the gift of Life you’ve already been given. This includes wisdom from experience. If you haven’t built up any earned wisdom then you wouldn’t know good fortune if it were in the palm of your hands.

Abundance and prosperity is more about creativity and inner fulfillment than it is about material goods. But just to put some of your minds at ease—people will pay good money for your wisdom and experience.

Prosperity is a perception built on wisdom, capability, and self-awareness. To bring the prior points together, a person’s prosperity is largely linked to the amount of control they believe they have in a situation.

Someone who has earned their lot and then has lost it may be disheartened for a time, but when they forgive themselves and the World, they will use their inner resources and means to rebuild—they won’t feel hopeless because they know themselves, trust themselves, and have the wisdom from all their previous chapters of life to help them do it.

When you feel you have a path, or “faith”, you will follow that faith with your work. This affords you the ability to enjoy moments of your journey. This is why broke college students still have fun in college—they have faith that their path will lead to more prosperity, even those who pursue more rigorous coursework.

Feng Shui helps you cultivate these energies that will lead you to more prosperity and good fortune, thanks to your engagement with both your inner and outer world.

Feng Shui Tips to Attract Money & Luck in Business

Before you can attract good chi into your home, take a good look around and reflect on what energies you are inviting into it already.

The following is how to welcome good chi and prosperity into your home:

Understand the presentation of your home. From the outside, look at your home from the sidewalk, down the street, etc. Based on what you see, what energy do you imagine you are inviting into your home? Is it giving abundance or broke energy? Is it giving cleanliness or inconsideration? Take note of all the positive presentation qualities and the negative. Work on fixing the negatives and building on the positive.

TIPS

  • Trees and plants protect humans from the elements and inspire feelings of safety and sometimes wonder. Living foliage brings positive energy and vibrancy.
  • A clear path to the entrance of your home is meant to encourage a walk of welcoming, not a walk of shame. The pathway into your home can provide good energy flow.
  • Vibrant colors attract chi because it embraces liveliness. Vibrant colors also have a way of inspiring the unconscious mind thanks to color psychology.

Invite good energy into your home. The front of your home indicates whether or not you take joy in your life. Someone who is not happy with their home won’t put as much effort into the face of their home. But someone who is proud or content with their life will make the effort to make their home’s face presentable.

TIPS

  • A bright colored door is inviting to the eye of people and the Universe.
  • Sweep dirt off the doorstep to promote cleanliness. In some spiritual belief systems, sweeping removes stale energy and makes room for new energy. In a more concrete sense, the leftover dirt is from past visits to your doorstep and a swept doorstep is an invitation for people to visit and bring new energy.
  • By polishing the doorknob and door knocker, you are telling the world that you are proud of your home and that it’s a place for revitalization.
  • Keep garbage away from the pathways to your home to keep chi energy flowing

Take note of any results. Over time, take note of the changes that happen in and around your home.

After you’ve invited good chi into your home, you must guide it and harbor it in your home. The following are ways to keep good chi in your home with the intention of wealth and prosperity:

Maintain a flowing layout in your home. To keep the energy flowing in your home, take lots of consideration when arranging your decor, designs, and item shapes. A flowing layout will prevent energy blockages and stifling.

Create a path in your home. Make sure upon entering your home it is bright, clear, and obstacles like shoes and jackets aren’t in the way. You want to keep your hallways tidy and refrain from having stands or large metal objects in the halls. Hallways are the corridors energies travel through.

Clear clutter from entrances and exits. You want to give as much qualitative attention to energy chi movement in your home as you do earning money. Keep your space and hallways clear of clutter to keep energy flowing.

TIPS:

  • Hang pictures that reflect your personal aspirations
  • Use rugs to direct energy further into your home
  • Utilize plants and curved tables to promote the flow of energy in your home
  • Don’t let your spare rooms go neglected; feng shui honors the entirety of your space

Now that you’ve invited and guided energy into your home, it’s time to maximize that flow and prevent it from slipping out of your home too quickly. Here are tips to harness chi for wealth and prosperity:

Use plants in your garden to hold onto more chi. If you can imagine chi coming in from the front of your house and quickly out the back, consider adding plants to your backyard garden to hang onto any residual good luck.

TIPS:

  • Potted plants by entryways and exits help slow down the flow of chi without stifling it.
  • Place ornaments or statues to help retain healthy chi
  • Utilize plants and trees by placing them in your backyard to grab onto chi that escapes the back of the house

Slow down chi from quickly entering and exiting your home. Utilize the following tips if you have a straight line from the entrance of your property to your doorway to your hallway and straight out the backyard.

TIPS:

  • Use plants to slow down chi along the pathway from your property entrance to your home entrance
  • Within the home, place furniture in a way that would separate energy that would otherwise shoot straight out an exit; slower chi will travel into other rooms before leaving the home
  • Put up pictures of dense landscapes to help slow down chi

Add drapery to windows to slow down chi. Rooms with huge or complex window schemas should have drapery or other furnishing nearby to help keep the chi in the room for longer

Where is the Money & Prosperity Corner in Feng Shui?

The money and prosperity corner is located in the southeastern part of a space, and it’s associated with enhancing financial well-being and prosperity.

Activating this corner involves various techniques, such as using specific colors, elements, and symbolic items to promote wealth and abundance in one’s life.

The following is a ritual that utilizes feng shui for wealth and prosperity:

  1. Find a south-facing room in your home. If you don’t have a south-facing room, pick an east or southeast facing room.
  2. Remove clutter and broken items from the room, this includes reading materials you don’t read anymore. Move any projects in the room to another room so you can focus in the present. Remove any items that have past negative emotions attached.
  3. Whether day or night, clean all the windows and keep the curtains open. Leave a dedicated bowl of water on the windowsill for at least 24 hours. After blessing the water with natural light for 24 hours, you will put the blessed water in a spray bottle to use around the room anytime you perform this ritual.
  4. Have a dedicated cushion or chair to sit on during the ritual.
  5. On a daily basis, you will perform this ritual. You will have a specific time where you will perform this ritual. It is best performed at the time of day when you have the most positive vibes.
  6. According to many spiritual beliefs, such as wicca and feng shui, the new moon is the best time to start a ritual. The idea is that the Moon Goddess is at her strongest energies on New Moon nights.
  7. Have a one sentence mantra with two or three key words written on a piece of paper. This sentence will be a very direct and clear intention you want to put out into the world.
  8. Based on your written intention, you will bring in items that reflect it. This way you are blessing these items with your intentions—transforming them from regular objects to symbols in your psyche.
  9. You will meditate on these words for 5 to 20 minutes or more per day.
