Feng Shui to Attract Love & Romance

Let’s go over how you can use feng shui to attract love and romance into your life.

But first, let’s quickly go over what feng shui is-

What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy, meaning “wind and water,” with a history spanning over 4,000 years. It addresses six life aspects: health, wealth, love, family, career, and well-being, through self-awareness and environmental changes.

Feng Shui is not a strict set of rules but a personalized, long-term practice adaptable to one’s lifestyle and goals. It fosters a connection between our inner energies and surroundings.

People turn to Feng Shui when seeking positive life changes and invite good energy with intentions. This practice incorporates ancient Chinese wisdom like Yin and Yang and Chi energy, aiming to harmonize the energies in one’s space.

Feng Shui to Attract Love for Singles

If you are looking to have a relationship and want feng shui to help, then ask yourself the following question: Is my home telling the Universe that I’m happy being single, or that I have space for a relationship?

Here are signs that someone is giving “happily single” living energy:

  • A bed usually pushed up to a wall so it’s easy to use for one person
  • A bathroom that is mindful for one person’s use only
  • Single piece conveniences (one kitchen stool, one towel on bathroom rack, one actual comfy seat in living area)

When someone is seeking a relationship, they have to literally create space for someone to fit into their life.

For example, as a single guy I would buy extra toothpaste and toothbrushes, makeup wipes, and spare pink towels for any girls who would come over. I was being mindful. Although this isn’t a “relationship” space, it had obvious “considerate hookup and friend with benefits” energy. But when the time came, the shift from “boyfriend potential” to “committed relationship” feng shui energy was easy because it’s the energy I gave out.

On the other hand, when I lived with roommates, neither of them invested in getting an actual bed. One of them had a twin-sized mattress on a full sized bed frame. The other slept on an air mattress, while having the walk-in closet and private restroom. However, it was all cluttered and under-utilized.

You can tell where a person is internally based on their living space. But you also want to consider that Orderliness is a personality trait. People with low Orderliness will have a higher tolerance for messes and vice versa. I have low Orderliness and so did my roommates at the time. I was still far more put together then they were. My point is to consider Orderliness as a personality trait, but despite this—the person is still capable of making space for a partner if they genuinely are open it, the how is what you have to keep an eye for.

That said, with everything that’s going right with your life, why do you feel like you need a relationship? Are you looking for something to prop up your self-esteem, or are you genuinely ready to build a life with someone? Or maybe something different?

Regardless, if you’re looking to have someone in your life, then make space for that person. When you literally make space for a person in your home, you are inviting a relationship into your life.

Feng Shui to Attract Love & Marriage

Feng Shui offers practical life changes to emotional issues that are affecting a relationships and marriages.

For example, if you feel like your relationship has fizzled out but can’t figure out why—feng shui can help you identify invisible issues through the physical surroundings you both share.

Here are the two signs that there are underlying relationship issues:

  1. The more “public” rooms look in great condition (front yard, front rooms, living rooms, hosting spaces, hallways, etc.
  2. However, the guest areas are neglected, shabby, in need of repair, moldy, dying, etc.

By working on the neglected parts of the home, your psyche will follow suit—Instead of only taking care of the superficialities and presentation of the relationship, you both will take greater consideration of the underlying emotional landscape and each other’s deeper needs.

Take steps to repair, remove, or revitalize the following:

  • Wilting/dying plants
  • Shabby curtains and covers
  • Moldy walls
  • Leaks
  • Broken pathways
  • Abandoned items and furniture

Note: Holding on to junk reflects an inability to let go of the past.

Here are more tips for Reviving Your Relationship and Marriage:

  • Keep your home tidy; decor and curtains match, cupboards and other storage spaces are organized
  • Revisit and tidy up or re-utilize forgotten storage spaces or neglected rooms
  • Any pictures or vision boards should be relatively updated or present

Where you find neglect in your home, there is sure to be neglect in the relationship.

The solution is the pay attention to those parts of your home that you neglect, regardless if they are “hidden” from guests.

Here is some general relationship advice:

  • Plan something new or fun to do at minimum every 10 days. This means there are 3 out of every 30 days that are dedicated to your relationship guilt-free
  • Every relationship demands 4 to 6 hours of undivided attention, or “quality time”, between both partners per week. You can allot some of this time to an intimate dinner for two, without any worry of anyone else’s gaze

Here are some Feng Shui relationship advice tips:

  • You want to balance out the Yin and Yang energy in the home. How can you expect a boyfriend or husband to feel like he belongs in your life when he is given no space for expression in the home, and vice versa
  • Take care of the Earth energy in your home. Earth energy is the grounding for all energies and people can sense when you are in balance with it. The more Earth energy you have, the healthier your psyche may be, and you will attract likewise

Where is the Love Corner in Feng Shui?

The Love & Romance Relationships corner holds significance in Feng Shui philosophy and is typically situated in the southwestern part of a space. It’s associated with enhancing love, relationships, and romantic aspects of one’s life.

Activating the Love Corner involves using specific colors, elements, and symbolic items to foster harmonious and loving connections. Especially a focus on Earth Energy.
